Shelter Dogs released July 21, 2026, and author Amelie Anastasia is traveling the country advocating for animal adoption and fundraising for animal shelters!

AUGUST

Join us for the Shelter Dogs Book Launch Party at Ruff Life Pet Outfitters on August 13, 2026 from 1-3 pm EST at 309 Howard Street in Petoskey, Michigan. 

Amelie joins a panel of Award-winning and Inspiring Authors at the Building a Culture of Reading in Your Classroom event at the Clackamas Town Center in Happy Valley, Oregon at Barnes and Noble August 8, 2026 from 11am-4 pm PST. 

Dr Shafer, Illustrator of Shelter Dogs, and June Bug, the most recent rescued addition to the Shelter Dogs crew, will be signing books and fundraising for LTBHS at Grandpa Shorter's from 3-5 pm EST August 17, 2026 in Petoskey, MI. 

SEPTEMBER

Amelie will be signing books and serving as a judge for the dog awards (Best Trick, Best Owner/Pet Look-Alike, Best Rescue Story, Best Costume, and Best in Show/Judges Award for the 2nd annual Bay Harbor Bow Wow  Fundraiser for LTBHS from 10 am- 12 noon EST in Bay Harbor, Michigan.
